SAUCY RIDES – RULES OF THE ROAD

Welcome to Saucy Rides. To keep our vehicles safe, clean, and available for everyone, all renters must follow these rules during the rental period.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Only approved drivers listed on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

• Driver must have a valid driver’s license and active insurance if required.

• Minimum age requirements must be followed at all times.

NO SMOKING POLICY

• No smoking, vaping, marijuana, or drug use inside the vehicle.

• A cleaning/deodorizing fee of up to $500 may be charged for violations.

SPEEDING & RECKLESS DRIVING

• No racing, drifting, burnouts, donuts, reckless driving, or excessive speeding.

• Vehicles may be GPS monitored for safety and security purposes.

• Dangerous driving may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

TOLLS, TICKETS & FINES

• Renter is fully responsible for:

  • Tolls

  • Parking tickets

  • Traffic violations

  • Impound fees

  • Red light or speed camera tickets

• Any unpaid charges will be billed to the renter.

CHARGING & BATTERY RULES (TESLAS)

• Vehicle must be returned with at least the same battery percentage provided at pickup.

• Supercharging fees used during the trip are the renter’s responsibility.

• Do not allow the battery to drop below 5%.

CLEANLINESS

• Vehicle must be returned reasonably clean.

• Excessive dirt, stains, spills, sand, pet hair, or odors may result in cleaning fees.

PET POLICY

• Pets are only allowed with prior approval.

• Any pet-related damage or cleaning will be charged to the renter.

OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL

• Out-of-state travel must be approved before departure.

• Unauthorized long-distance travel may result in additional charges.

ACCIDENTS & DAMAGES

• Any accident, warning light, tire damage, or vehicle issue must be reported immediately.

• Renter may not perform repairs without approval from Saucy Rides.

PROHIBITED USES

The vehicle may NOT be used for:

• Towing

• Off-roading

• Ride-share services (Uber/Lyft) without permission

• Illegal activities

• Transporting drugs or weapons

• Track racing or stunt driving

RETURN POLICY

• Vehicle must be returned on time.

• Late returns may result in additional hourly or daily charges.

• Failure to return the vehicle may result in repossession and law enforcement involvement.

DAMAGE RESPONSIBILITY

Renter is financially responsible for:

• Interior damage

• Wheel/rim damage

• Tire damage

• Charging cables/accessories

• Lost key cards or key fobs

• Any damage caused during the rental period

By accepting the vehicle keys, the renter agrees to follow all rules and accepts responsibility for violations, damages, fees, and misuse during the rental period.
